The end bad governance protest entered the 5th day today with renewed exuberance and violence from the both the protesters and the law enforcement officials.
This is as information available to 247ureports.com indicates the law enforcement agencies overstepped their boundaries as they attended to control the assembled protesters along the Nyanya/Karu/Jikwoyi axis.
The would-be Protesters had assembled at the Karu main mosque and at the Kurudu main mosque armed with the Russian flag. Most of the assembled protesters were carrying the Russian flag and were comprised of young youths and bearded men who resembled clerics.
As the assembled crowd began to prepared to take on their match, law enforcement officials comprising of a mix of police and other security officials arrived the two scenes simultaneously with impactful force.
The security began with firing life round ls of bullets from their AK-47 and were also shooting tear Gas and smoke bombs.
The operation at both locations lasted less than 30minitues. The would-be Protesters were dispersed.
Sources in the area revealed that it was the traders and shop owners located at both locations that alerted the security agencies of the looming threat of protest turning into a bloody riot where shops would be looted and burnt.
Presently, calm has returned to the axis.
