KANKARA, NIGERIA — Panic has gripped residents of Kankara Local Government Area after armed bandits launched a violent night raid on Unguwar Yan Zauruka, abducting a housewife and six children.
The attack occurred in the early hours of Friday, May 1, 2026, marking the latest in a string of violent incursions that have plagued the frontline communities of Katsina State in recent weeks.
The Attack
