LOKOJA, Nigeria — Residents of the Felele area in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, have been thrown into shock and mourning following an incident where a 43-year-old clergyman allegedly doused his wife with petrol and set her on fire.
The suspect, identified as Jacob Irewa, reportedly committed the act following a heated domestic dispute with his wife, Berida Irawo.
