Governor-Obiano-and-Senator-Chris-Ngige
Our chapter of APC congratulates President Muhammadu Buhari and  the Council of States for their appointment of a substantive Chairman for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the person of  and five commissioners.

We trust that the Senate will give the new appointees an accelerated, but thorough check before confirmation, to enable them tackle the numerous tasks facing the electoral umpire.

Our chapter commends Buhari’s example to Gov. Willie Obiano to expeditiously make-up the composition of Anambra Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) on time to conduct the local government elections that will produce the Chairmen and councilors to replace the existing ones on the expiration of their tenure.

E have said before and wish to re-emphasize for the records tha the appointment of interim officers in the local government in-between elected officials is not only acceptable to our party  and the generality of Anambra State ,but is an open invitation to anarchy a state that does not require it now.

We therefore request the immediate filling of all vacancies n the board of ANSIEC to enable the election proceeds unhindered.

We urge religious and community leaders to advise Obiano against the current of lobby from political jobbers in some unstable parties in the state and those being pushed by invisible hands and follow he laws to the letter.

Finally we demand that all the local government funds so far collected by Anambra State Government between January 2014 and now, should be carefully accounted for ahead of the expiration of this tenure in December and the inception of another officers elected by the people.
