The Managing Director of Olivero Auto’s Mobile/Real Estate Agency, Abuja, Eze Oliver Okechukwu, has called on the people of Nsukka and Igbo Eze South Federal Constituency in Enugu State to support Dr. Oscar Ejike Ugwuoke, who is seeking to contest for the House of Representatives on the platform of the Labour Party in the 2027 general elections.
Okechukwu said Ugwuoke had built a reputation for community service and youth empowerment long before declaring his political ambition, urging constituents to support what he described as a candidate with a track record of humanitarian service.
According to him, Ugwuoke “is not just a candidate but a man of the people” who has positively impacted many young people through scholarships, business empowerment initiatives and assistance in securing federal government employment opportunities.
He said the constituency needed a representative with integrity, experience and a commitment to improving the lives of ordinary people.
Okechukwu urged residents across Nsukka and Igbo Eze South to unite behind the Labour Party candidate, expressing confidence that Ugwuoke would provide effective representation if elected.
A profile released by Ugwuoke’s supporters describes him as a retired senior public servant, legal practitioner and community development advocate whose career has been defined by public service and continuous academic advancement.
According to the profile, Ugwuoke, an indigene of Obukpa in Nsukka Local Government Area, began his education at Enugu Road Primary School, Nsukka, before attending St. Theresa’s Secondary School and later the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
The profile states that he served in the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission under the Presidency, where he rose to a managerial position before retiring from the civil service.
It adds that after retirement, he studied Law at Baze University, Abuja, and later obtained a First Class degree in Criminal Law and Justice in the United States, while also acquiring several professional certifications in Nigeria and abroad.
According to the document, Ugwuoke is currently pursuing further studies in Healthcare Law and Nursing.
Supporters also credit him with helping young people secure eimployment opportunities, particularly within federal security agencies and other public institutions, through mentorship and professional networking.
