NKPOR, NIGERIA — A horrific incident has thrown the community of Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, into deep mourning and outrage following the suspected murder of a young woman named Chinasa.

The victim was allegedly killed and buried in a shallow grave by her boyfriend, Ife, a local bricklayer, after she reportedly turned down his marriage proposal.

According to reports filtering out of the community, Chinasa went missing after a disagreement with her partner, Ife, over the future of their relationship. Sources within the neighborhood allege that the suspect became violent upon receiving a negative response to his proposal.
