Former President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo will tomorrow perform a commissioning of two major roads projects executed under the present administration of Governor Bala Mohammed in Bauchi state.
In press release by the Governor’s special adviser on Media and Publicity Comrade Muktar Gidado said during the visit, Chief Obasanjo GCFR would commission two ( 2) major road projects executed by the Bala Mohammed led administration under his Urban and Rural renewal projects.
The two major roads projects to be commissioned by the former president are: The completed Dualization of 17.7KM Kano road to Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport Bauchi. While the 30KM Gubi Gari, Ruda Bida, Siyi to Nasarawa road connecting two local Government areas of Bauchi and Ganjuwa.
Gidado said the roads infrastructural developments aimed at boosting the socio-economic activities of Bauchi State, are a testament to the Governor’s unwavering commitment to the progress and well-being of the people. Governor Bala Mohammed has demonstrated exemplary leadership through numerous developmental projects, which have transformed the landscape of the state and improved the standard of living of its citizens. The construction of these roads is part of the larger vision of ensuring that Bauchi State remains a hub of development, investment, and growth in Northern Nigeria.
According the Comrade Gidado, the visit of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR underscores the importance of these achievements and serves as a morale booster to the administration’s efforts to build a better future for Bauchi. Adding that his presence in Bauchi State is a reflection of the mutual respect and shared commitment to nation-building between past and present leadership.
