Founder and leader of Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has stated that the predictions of late Biafra warrior, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu about the evit entity called Nigeria are still staring at us at 66 years of independence.
This, he said, is because the purposes of expired amalgamation of northern and southern Nigeria protectorate were specifically designed by the northern protectorate to cheat their southern counterpart.
This was contained in a press statement issued on Uwazuruike’s behalf on Wednesday by Mazi Chris Mocha, MASSOB’S National Director of Information and Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, titled: “66 years after, Ojukwu’s predictions about the evit entity called Nigeria are still staring at us in the face because Abuja politicians and contractors are never deterred”
Uwazuruike noted that God Almighty is really angry with the Nigerian nation because the blood of the common man are being used to sustain the evil entity.
According to him, “the Abuja politicians and contractors believe in the elusive one Nigeria, the one Nigeria that is their source of corruption and impunity to commit crime and shielding them from all sorts of evils. The one Nigeria that is their instrument of inequality.
But the disturbing aspect of the evil entity called one Nigeria is that the common man bears the brunt”.
“Like in the case of Biblical Egypt, he continued, God hardened the hearts of Abuja politicians and contractors over the plights of the suffering masses and because God Almighty abhors injustice, as long as the intent and purposes of the expired amalgamation of the North and South were designed to cheat the South, Nigeria can never make any meaningful progress”.
“The anger of God Almighty is on Nigeria because the blood of the common man is being used to sustain this evil entity called one Nigeria. It is this same evil that brought about the insecurity in Nigeria which can never abate. This insecurity is the sign of the anger of God on Nigeria and that is why Nigeria remains a crawling baby at 66 years of statehood because it has failed to receive the blessing of God Almighty”.
“MASSOB has recommended that there is only one solution to the problems of Nigeria. The solution is for the six existing Nigeria’s geo-political zones in the country to be granted Independence. The assets of the citizens of the different geo-political zones will be protected by the international laws while bilateral agreements will guide the future relationships of the New Republics”.
“National Conference can not solve the problems facing Nigeria because there is deep rooted hatred among the different ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. This hatred is so deep and can not be wished away. We only pretend to love ourselves in Nigeria, when indeed, the hatred is natural. The hatred is in our blood, and no amount of preaching on nationalism can change Nigeria”.
“We must consider the precious lives of our innocent people that are being killed on daily basis in Nigeria. We must not allow our parochial interests and political ambition to becloud our senses of reasoning”.
“Our people are dying, there is nothing good about Nigeria’s Independence to celebrate. The only solution is to divide Nigeria into six countries, namely; South East (Biafra),
South West, South South, North Central, North East, and North West”.
“This is the only solution that will save the people of Nigeria.
That was what our great Hero Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu tried to do in 1967, but he was misunderstood. That is what I, Barr. (Chief) Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike and the members of MASSOB are still saying today. That is what we will continue to say through non-violence and non-exodus until the needful is done. That is MASSOB’s message to Nigeria at 66 Independence”.
