…Warns Against Holding Of Parallel Meetings

National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Bar Sylvester Ezeokenwa has alleged that Chief Edozie Njoku is afraid of meeting him in Court insisting that Njoku has many things to explain to the Court.
He further warned against holding parallel meetings of APGA which is being led by Njoku group and asked the Chairman of Onitsha South local government area Chief Emeka Joseph Orji not to allow such acts of illegality to pervade in Fegge the headquarters of the Council.
Ezeokenwa who said this during the flag off of the Local government election campaign of the party’s Chairmanship candidate Chief Emeka Joseph Orji and the Councillorship candidates of party at Feege Onitsha South contended that;
“You are all aware of one Edozie Njoku who have been parading himself as Acting National Chairman of the party with a certain Court Order which he claimed affirmed his position ‘
“We have gone to Court to challenge that and he has been objecting to it and we ask , why is Edozie Njoku afraid of coming to Court to tell us who the certain Court pronouncement made him Acting National Chairman and he has been avoiding Court”
“That means that there is more to it than meets the ordinary eye and it goes to raise moral questions if he has something to hide or not ”
Ezeokenwa urged the Transition Committee Chairman of Onitsha South local government area Chief Emeka Joseph Orji not to allow any meeting of Njoku group to hold on the area.
“Onitsha South is my local government area and I am a son of Fegge and Mr Chairman please do not allow them to hold any meeting of any kind , shape and form to hold in the area.
“Mr Chairman I know that they having been moving around in Onitsha South local government area and Mr Chairman make sure such meetings did not hold here and you know that I am a son of Fegge” he said.
Speaking earlier the Chairman of Onitsha South local government area Chief Emeka Joseph Orji noted that upon his re-election as Council Chairman he would further spread more areas good governance in the Council area
Similarly the Commissioner for Special Duties Mrs Beverly Nkemdiche urged the Vice Chairmanship candidate and all the seventeen Ward Councillorship candidates to remain loyal to the Chairman adding that the party will not take kindly to any acts of insubordination as the party would take care of the culprits in line with the party constitution.
