The new Commissioner of Police in State, CP Aderemi Adeoye, has advocated the need for more synergy among security agencies to enable them rid the state of criminality and insecurity.

The Commissioner made the call on Thursday, when he visited the Comptroller of Immigration Service in the State, CIS Edirin Endurance Okoto in Awka, the State capital.

Speaking at the event, CP Adeoye said the essence of his visit was to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, cooperation and coordination to enable the two security organisations combat crime effectively in the State.

The Commissioner, who expressed zero tolerance for crime, promised to sustain and cement the good working relationship already existing between his predecessor, the CIS and the two Commands, for better results in their services to the people of the State.
