Senator Lawal Yahaya Gumau (APC) Bauchi” South Senatorial District has doled out seven hundred and ten (710) bags of rice to Muslims Ummah in Bauchi State.
Gumau made this known yesterday in Bauchi while distributing the fasting material at his Constituency office Bauchi South Senatorial District no 1 adjacent Union Bank Jos road Bauchi State
Other item distributed include, three hundred rappers (300) for women and one hundred and eighty shaddah for men
While one hundred and fifty his campaign directors and coordinators from the seven local government areas that make up his consttituency received ten thousands naira and five yards of shaddah for sallah.
He said, “”Bauchi local government got one hundred and thirty bags of rice, sixty rappers and forty shaddah, Toro one hundred and twenty bags of rice, sixty rappers and forty shaddah while Alkaleri got one hundred and twenty bags of rice, fifty rappers and thirty shaddah.
Others are Tafawa Balewa got one hundred twenty bags of rice, thirty shaddah and fifty rappers, Dass got one hundred and ten bags of rice, forty rappers and thirty shaddah while Kirfi got one hundred and ten bags of rice, forty rappers and twenty shaddah.
He further enjoyed the Muslims to used this period to forgive one another, pray for the peace and unity of the nation and to help the downtrodden among them as it is enshrined in Islam.
