Ohio man gets 6 more years in prison after calling judge a ‘racist’

Manson M. Bryant got more than he expected on March 19 after delivering a profanity-laced courtroom rant in which he called the judge sentencing him for a variety crimes a “racist.” Specifically, he got an additional six years added to his sentence.

Bryant, who was found guilty of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, abduction, having weapons under disability and carrying concealed weapons, wasn’t pleased with his 22-year sentence and unloaded on the judge.

“F*ck your courtroom race sh*t, b*tch,” Bryant said. “You’re racist as f*ck! You’re racist as f*ck!”

Judge Eugene A. Lucci was equally unimpressed with the defendant.

“Actually, you know what?” Lucci responded, as Bryant’s tirade continued. “When I said you had a certain amount remorse? I was mistaken.”

“The court’s determined the maximum amount is needed,” Lucci continued as Bryant screamed “let me out! Let me out!” and pounded his fists on the jury box.

After Bryant was removed, Lucci continued to say he had planned to mitigate the sentence due to the defendant’s contrition, but the outburst had changed his mind.
