There may soon be pandemonium in Muri Emirate of Taraba state if the on-going speculation of replacing the present paramount ruler of Muri and chairman Taraba state Council of Emirs and Chiefs, Alhaji (Dr) Abas Tafida with Galadiman Muri, Alhaji Tukur Abba Tukur (Hakimin Ardo Kola) becomes the truth.
Rumors has it that the embattled fake governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku is now running from coast to coast to upturn justice and muzzle life out of democracy if he succeeds in his hatchet plan against Muri Emirate including the relocation of the State Government House from Jalingo to Kona-Garu for obvious reason.
A source close to Muri Emirate Council confirmed to 247ureports that in his desperation to plant his stooge as the paramount ruler of Muri, Darius Ishaku has recruited the service of a Muri prince, Galadiman Muri, Tukur Abba Tukur to run his errands in the project of strangulating the people’s franchise and their choice of governor.
“Tukur Abba Tukur in order to satisfy his penchant for greed and disruption of the fragile peace enjoyed in the state has decided to throw away decency and decorum to take the front seat in the failed Darius Ishaku project against the people of Muri. He is now more of a politician than a traditional title holder and district head. He is systematically destroying the traditional institution for crumbs thrown by a fake governor
“The game plan is if Darius Ishaku finally navigates to safety in the on-going cases against him, Tukur Abba Tukur is promised to replace the respected Abass Tafida who has stood his ground against injustice and disunity. What the amiable Abass Tafida believes in, is the unity of Tarabians and Nigerians. He believes in the rule of law and justice. Darius had all along expected HRH Abas Tafida to throw away the baby with the bathing water which he has resisted in his determination to maintain the respect of the traditional institution. Politics is for politicians. Abass Tafida is a respected traditional ruler that cannot be bought, bribed or corrupted to succumb to easy threats and mouth-watering incentives
“We are determined to resist any negativity against HRH Abass Tafida from any quarter no matter the consequences. We shall continue to protect, preserve and defend the respect of our traditional institution no matter what. Darius cannot dictate to us what to do. Let him strive to carry his cross and stop deceiving himself as a governor”, he said
Meanwhile, the embattled Galadiman Muri in company of other destroyers of democracy are presently alleged to be in Abuja having sleepless nights and un-invited visits to selected residential places including that of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) and Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa, President of the Federal Court of Appeal in their effort to upturn justice against the people of Taraba state.
