Nasarawa Lawmakers Attributed Nonpayment Of Salaries, Unemployment To Pace of Insecurity

Hon.Ibrahim Bala Moskolo (APC) representing Keffi West has identified the nonpayment of two months salaries to Local Government workers and the alarming rise in the number of graduates roaming the street as a contributing factor to the rising criminality in the state.

He advice the state Government to tackle the gory situation by creating jobs opportunities for the teeming graduates rigmole the street,Adding that the presence of sort of people hinders the society.

In his contributions ,Hon Muhammed Muluku (PDP) representing Nasarawa Eggon North raised alarmed over the abduction of a former minority leader,Mary Onwugulu  by unknown gunmen  as uncalled for,Appealing to Government and the security agencies  expidiete action  to re-unite her with her family members.

Hon.Muhammed Okpede (PDP) representing Doma North decried robbery attacked on Doma by miscreant, He further lament the unabated attacks matted on farmers in the area.

“People no longer go to farms due to the fear of the unknown”

Also Hon. Kazzim APC representing Akwanga West expressed displeasure over the increasing gun shot and rate of criminality in Akwanga.

Hon Daniel Ogazi (APC) representing Kokona East gave a verdict of how gunmen robbed people at will,He also expressed worried over the murder of a youngster, Mikael Abubakar at Angoro .

Other member that lament the ungodly act of attacks are Hon.Abubakar Ogberre (APC) representing Kokona West .

The Assembly resolved that the House writer a formal  letter to the Governor reminder him of the importance of security been the chief security officer of the state.
Similarly the House elected Hon Tanko Tunga as the majority Leader,Bar.Abubakar Ogberre ,Deputy mwhile Hon Mala Makpa was elected Chief Whip and James Dangana Deputy Chief Whip
