Emir of Gusau Sarkin Katsina Alhaji Muhammad Kabir Danbaba, has conferred the title of Wakilin Raya Birnin Gusau (Councilor of Development of Gusau Emirate) to Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
Emir of Gusau Alhaji Muhammad Kabir Danbaba who expressed happiness with the Bola Ahmed Tinibu’s commitments to the development of the country economically and politically, described him, as a role model who struggle hard to ensure sustainable Nigeria’s unity.
Alhaji Muhammad Kabir Danbaba explained that the emirate council has agreed to confer the title to the Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a mark of respect and in recognition of his selfless services and dedication to Nigeria’s economic and political development.
The monarch donated a traditional horse and dresses to the former governor, and called on the political office holders to emulate Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to fear Almighty Allah to discharge their responsibilities in an open and transparent manner so that trust and confidence can be build at all time.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu thanked the Emir for the gesture, saying that he was impressed with the level of development in Gusau and Zamfara in extension and described the Zamfara State Governor Abdul-Azeez Yari Abubakar as a “blessing to the people of the state”.
He said with the courage of the governor to effect real life transformation, he has seen brighter future for Zamfara state and urged the monarch to always advise the governor where and when necessary.
He also urged the citizen to be law abiding and be good supporters of the Yari’s regime for a better Zamfara.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu was accompanied in the visit by the Presidential candidate of the defunct ACN Malam Nuhu Ribadu, Malama Yusuf Ali former ANPP National Chairman, APC chieftain Sen Lawal Shuaibu Kaura as well as Malam Lai Mohd APC Interim Publicity Secretary.
