Infomation reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the Rivers State governor, Mr. Amaechi has resuspended the obio akpor council chairman, Timothy Nsirim.
The suspension came 24hours after Governor Amaechi dumped the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] for the All Progressive Congress [APC].
The suspension was announced in the rivers state television at 10pm today [thursday night]. The statement which was signed by secratary to state government, Mr George Feyi also directed the chairman to handover to the head of administration immediately.
A source close to the Amaechi group said the resuspension was in conection with the outcome of the case at the appeal court today – where the presiding Judge set aside the case pending when it will be heard again. The source condemned the judgment of Justice Iyayi Laminakanre.
