The suspension came 24hours after Governor Amaechi dumped the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] for the All Progressive Congress [APC].
The suspensionย was announced inย the rivers state television at 10pm today [thursday night].ย The statement which was signed by secratary to state government, Mr George Feyi also directedย the chairman to handover toย the head of administration immediately.
