Reports reaching 247ureports indicate that another attack has taken place in Sokoto as gunmen on a motorbike are said to have opened fire on Arkilla Police Station which is also close to a mobile Police Barracks in Sokoto around 6.30pm.
According to sources, a police was said to have been killed in the said attack by the Gunmen. Immediately after the shooting the gunmen fled before the men of the Mobile Police Barrack which is close came in for fortification.
It will be recalled that two attacks had previously happened in Sokoto today, where two police stations in the state were attacked by suspected Islamic Militants
