IPOB Express Apprehension Over Fate Of Member Facing Deportation From UK

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has expressed fears over the safety of it’s Financial Secretary Loretta Ijeoma Ebere following indications that she may be deported to Nigeria .

Where who was the Provost of the organization in Croydon is facing deportation/ Administrative removal to Nigeria had pleaded with the United Kingdom due to reported incidents of arrests and long encasaration of it’s members in Nigeria due to its separatist agitations.

Already it is alleged that three of the IPOB members from her home town have not been found in the past four years following their mysterious disappearance.

According to the Spokesman for the body in United Kingdom Comerade Okey Okoye in a statement lamented what Loretta Ijeoma Ebere family had passed through on the account of what he called brutality and intimidation by the Nigerian Authorities.

“We have been keeping intail about the relationship and siblings of our sister Loretta Ijeoma Ebere since the struggle for the Independence of the Biafran Republic”

“Three of her relatives and siblings have been missing for over three to four years and there whereabouts are unknown up till this moment”

“We appealed to the United Kingdom Authorities to reconsider their stands on this matter because we cannot guarantee her safety and it would be most unfortunate if she is deported and we begin to hear stories that would not be pleasant to us ” he said.

Loretta Ijeoma Ebere has been on the vanguard of the release of the leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu since his detention at the Department of State Service DSS facility a development that led to the manhunt of her relatives by security operatives in the country.
