Omolara was apprehended by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) while attempting to board a flight to Saudi Arabia with the cocaine concealed in a false bottom of her luggage. Following her arrest, Omolara confessed that Ariket was the primary supplier and mastermind behind the illicit shipment, leading to her own trial and subsequent 25-year prison sentence.
