Governor Umar Namadi of jigawa state has call on the elected members of the state House of Assembly to join hands with the executives in prioritizing the collective interest of the state for the progress of the state
He made the plea at the Civic reception organized by Miga Development Association in conjunction with Miga Local Govt Council to honour the state assembly speaker Hon Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin.
According to Namadi the call is imperative for us to be able to achieve our twelve point agenda in persuance of our ensure objectives in line with the cardinal objectives of our party, the APC.
He however commended Miga Development Initiative Group for organizing the occasion in honour of their proudly son Rt Hon Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin.
” I am happy to tell Miga constituency that Rt Hon Aliyu is a good representative, a reliable and committed leader who care about development of Jigawa state and humanity, therefore this honour is well deserved ” Goverror Namadi stated.
Also call on farmers, and the entire populace in the state on the need to support his agricultural revolution agenda and other policies designed to improve the state’s economy and social development.
He stated that, as this year raining season farming advanced there is need for farmers to consult extension workers for useful advises on any given farming problems that will help in boosting their agricultural development for massive food production, especially in adapting to modern farming technique’s among other available implements towards agricultural production.
Governor Namadi reiterated the commitment of his government to ensure the supply of fertilizer, chemicals and other modern farm implements to the doorstep of farmers across all the 27 local government area of the state.
The reception which was held in Miga the headquarters of Miga local government council in jigawa state attracted cream of personalities. Least amongst member’s of the Jigawa state Executive Council, state assembly member’s, APC Chieftains, members of business community, among Other’s.
Earlier speaking at the occasion, the Speaker jigawa state House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin expressed his gratitude’s to Almighty Allah, Governor Namadi, Miga constituency and all well wishers for the honour done to him, described it as a source of inspiring and encouragement in public service.
Hon Dangyatin then promise to ensure good working relationship between the legislative and executives for delivering more dividends of democracy to the people of Jigawa state in line with All Progressives Congress (APC) philosophy.
