The Managing Director of Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority (UBRBDA), Engr Abubakar Halilu Mu’azu has praised Engr Suleiman Adamu, Minister of water resources be a Man with great ideas moving with President Muhammadu Buhari good policy of administration which is people orientated and focused on reviving the country’s economy in all sectors.
He said Engr Adamu has over the years is giving the Yola authority of upper Benue much attention it desires by providing the needed financial support through the budget in meeting the yearnings of the people.
According to him, the enabling good environment Suleiman provided is making him achieve many results in Yola UBRBDA.
He revealed that over the years there are abandoned irrigation facilities across Adamawa, Taraba and Bauchi by revamping them and operating optimally.
“I really want to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for the foresight to work with Engr Adamu, minister of water resources, the Man has a proven a good Nigerian doing great things in the ministry.
” For us in Yola UBRBDA progressive achievements because we are having the constant support of the minister,” Mu’azu said
He said the construction Dams in some parts of North East and maintenance of the existing Kiri Dam, Dadin Kowa and a number of farming families benefited from the authority by providing farming facilities to them.
Mu’azu further said the support farmers are enjoying from the Authority has created job, as boreholes and water pumps to boost their agriculture facilities, has provided to them.
A Staff in the organization, Isah Mbamba said Halilu’s first-year tenure on his good mission in turning around the Authority he converted daily rated staff to permanent and personable staff in line with federal government policy on creating employment.
Isah said the excellent performance of the Managing Director of UBRBDA has recently attracted a visit by the Minister commended him well as the best Manager and have good maintenance culture.
