At least 10 persons were killed on Thursday and many others sustained severe injuries when a bomb believed to have been buried by suspected Boko Haram group exploded, in Biu town, Borno State , A Survivor said.
Many more people may die as their present condition is so critical, Musa Usman, a member of the local civilian JTF said
“The Bomb went up around 3:10 pm ; the market was full as today is Biu market day where many traders come from many towns and villages and converge in Biu town to buy and sell ” Usaman said
Biu town is 185 Kilometers away from Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
