The South East zonal chapter of the Progressive Friends Foundation (PFF) says President Goodluck Jonathan’s humility, candour and political experience stands him out as the best among the lot aspiring for the presidency in 2015.
In an interaction with newsmen in Aba, Abia state, South East Coordinator of the group, Dr. Charles Chinekezi, his Secretary, Comrade Destiny Ogu; posited that Jonathan’s achievements in the area of agriculture, power sector, education, youth empowerment, electoral reforms, among others, reassures of a better Nigeria if he is re-elected for a second term.
“This is because President Jonathan has garnered deep matured political experience as a former governor, former deputy governor, vice president and President of the federal republic of Nigeria. His humility, candour and attentiveness stand him out of the pack of all other aspirants.”
“The Progressive Friends Foundation of Nigeria hereby enjoins all Nigerians to support the second term tenure of President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 presidential election as we call upon to accept our request for re-election.
The group which is an amalgam of over 120 political groups and civil society organizations with 15 million members in the South East zone insist Jonathan must accept the call by various groups and individuals to immediately declare interest for re-election in 2015.
“We urged Nigerians to return the president as overwhelmingly as they did during the last presidential poll in 2015.”
