Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has reiterated the need for a continual positive engagement of youths saying if they are lost, the future of Nigeria will be bleak.

Speaking to newsmen recently on his postulations for a better Nigeria, he said the only thing left is to re-orientate the youths as Nigeria State seem to be losing direction on what to do towards securing a better Nigeria tomorrow.

His words; ‘ if we fail to put our youths on the right path, we would be making a grave mistake. Every civilized nation has an uncompromising plans for her children. The areas that need focus are their welfare and education; what is being taught must have patriotic culture and above all what leadership is all about’.

He decried what he described as high level of monetization  of conscience where most young people no longer bother about dignity, self worth, hard work, values and heroism occasioned by one’s contribution and patriotism through service to father land.
