On behalf of ISAC, I condemn in strong terms and in its entirety the targeted bombing and killing of our brothers yesterday at a bus park in Sabon gari Kano. This is so barbaric and has to be curtailed. We can’t continue to be prey to the blood suck Islamic extremist.
We wish to state clearly that no one has monopoly of violence. How can we continue to suffer in the name of Nigeria? How can human beings like this be wasted all the time and nobody is doing anything to protect the lives and properties of the people? It is horrible to behold five fully luxury buses burn to ashes.
We continue to read all the time the president condemning acts after lives and properties have been lost. Will these condemnations bring back the lives and properties lost?
We therefore warn that we will not tolerate any killing of our people in this manner. We also condemn the Governor of Kano state for failing to provide security at the park. As the chief security officer of the state, it is his duty to provide security for all the people living in the state.
We therefore mandate him to provide adequate security in the state, especially all the areas that are dominated by the Igbo people.
We commiserate with the families and friends of those who lost their life to the inferno.
Igbo students and alumni congress therefore urge the Ohaneze Ndigbo to start thinking of moving our people out this dreaded terror zones of the north. We can’t continue to live with people who do not want us to live with them. We urge our entire brother who has investment in the north to start relocating to the east.
