Baring any last minute intervention,  the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) may be thrown into another set of crisis ahead of the 2015 general elections as there is an underground intrigues planned to instigate a face-off between the Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano and his deputy, Dr. Nkem Okeke, which is believably programmed to manifest in the impeachment of the Deputy  governor.
Part of the plans to achieve this, according to our investigations, is the blackmailing efforts against the Deputy Governor, which impeccable sources said are being sponsored by  his wealthy kinsman, Mr. Dozie Nwankwo, whose elder sister, Judith is married to the governor of Rivers State, Chief Rotimi Chibuike  Amechi.
Trouble started when Enugu ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area  was given the strategic political mandate to produce  a credible and qualified politician from the community to run as the running mate to governor Willie Obiano in the November 2013 election.
The lot, aftermath of the searchlight that was beamed on notable indigenes of the community fell on Dr. Okeke, a University Don in the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, a choice, our investigation further showed did not go down well with  Mr. Nwankwo, who since then, is said to be working to blackmail his kinsman-deputy governor in order to have another opportunity to present himself having cross carpeted to APGA.
To actualize the ambition, it was gathered that the secret  plan hatched  to  blackmail the Deputy Governor and set in motion machinery to impeach him at the instance of Nwankwo has blown open.
The major Stakeholders of Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia Federal Constituency met last weekend at a forum and waded into the controversial crisis in which they lambasted Nwankwo for his exuberant vitriolic attacks on the Deputy governor and Chief Nkwocha, urging him to sacrifice his ambition  to seek to represent the Federal Constituency, They advised  him to consider the House of Assembly seat for Njikoka State Constituency as a means to build his political empire and maturity and gain political experience.
But the intervention of the stakeholders  appears to have been flouted as Mr. Nwankwo is fingered in the blackmailing of the political leaders and  stakeholders as well as sponsorship of impeachment threat on the Deputy Governor who it was learnt shared the view of anti-Nwankwo supporters for Chief Nkwocha to go to the National Assembly.
The latest plan, our sources revealed is to instigate crises in APGA by spurious allegation that the Deputy Governor is nursing an ambition to succeed Governor Obiano and is working to unseat his principal, an allegation, the stakeholders described as unfounded and cheap.
The camp of Mr. Nwankwo, we learnt, is said to have spread the rumour that governor Obiano would move against his deputy, Dr. Nkem after the 2015 general elections.
To quicken the rumoured ouster of the Deputy Governor, a member of Nwankwo campaign team spying for the Stakeholders who leaded anonymity claimed that the ambitious young money bag is mobilizing the law makers in the State with a view to backing his bid impeach the Deputy Governor.
Accordingly, he was quoted to have assured the law makers that he was facilitating a parley with the State governor where he would sell the spurious dummy, which according to sources leaked, forcing  governor Obiano to issue media statement distancing himself from Mr. Nwankwo the   brother in-law of the Rivers State governor, Chief Rotimi Chibuike Amechi, the political adversary of the Presidency.
Our source, further pointed out that governor Obiano is yet to make up his mind to move against Dr. Nkem, arising from the allegation of insubordination and ambition to engineer his impeachment, but Nwankwo is said to have assured the law makers of his consistency to work towards the goal, through four key persons in his payroll.
Though he told them that he would get the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh to buy into the project, the camp, according to the source, was not convinced as the Presidency is reported to have warned the APGA leadership against fielding Mr. Nwankwo in the race.
