The National Coalition for Justice and Equity on Monday lauded the international community for its sense of concern over issues in Nigeria especially on the need to release the abducted schoolgirls unconditional.

Speaking through their Chairman, Mr Vincent Ezekwueme said that looking at the situation from the positive light; it shows how important and esteemed the country is to the international community and other influential countries.

They urged Nigerians to rise above political and religious sentiments to fight the terrorism monster.

Ezekwueme appealed the Boko Haram sect to lay down their arms and respect the sanctity of the human life for God and humanity sake, even as it regards to tender schoolgirls who have not committed any crime by going to school.

He recalled that no religion encourages violence because violence is the worst form of irresponsibility thereby called for the unconditional release of the schoolgirls as matter of urgency.

“We must stop this sect, which had given room for countries that have more serious issues more than ours to cast aspersions on the country,’’ he said.

He called on Nigerians to continue to fast and pray for the save rescue of the girls, shun political and religious groups to stop making un guided comments about the issue.
