Oshiomole kissing his new wife – President Buhari clapping

Former minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Peter Orubebe, has revealed some major roles played by the Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomhole, whom he accused of being  a problem and  major sycophant under the immediate past administration as the Chief Adviser on Economic and Labour matters and particularly on subsidy removal to President Goodluck Jonathan.

The former minister who lambasted governor Oshiomole for disrespecting the former president, advised incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari to be careful of the likes of the Edo state governor who, he said will choke him with acclamations in a bid to have access to dip their hands into the nation’s treasury.

He told newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday in an interview that governor Oshiomole was “a popular villa sycophant who is quick to switch allegiance to whomever is in power.”

His words: “Human memory is short, emphasising that ‘it’s unfortunate that Oshiomhole who should talk like a governor is today, biting the fingers (Jonathan) that fed him and seems to have forgotten in a hurry that he once cried around the former president for assistance and recognition.

“Mr. President Sir, I want to attest to the fact that there is reasonable sanity in the villa, but I want you to be weary of  popular Villa sycophants, this is because, Nigerian’s will hold you responsible for their atrocities and not these sycophants. Mr. President Sir, I will unraveled more secrets in my about to be published book tittled; ‘ Presidency and Nigeria Sycophancy.”

Speaking on the sour relationship between Rivers State gov. Wike and  Rotimi Amaechi , Orubebe who described Amaechi as a good man with reference to his unalloyed support for former President Jonathan during the 2011 general election’s advised the duo  to  sheath their swords and work together to restore Rivers state to its lost glory.

On the ongoing political crisis in Bayelsa state, Orubebe cautioned governor Seraiki Dickson to embrace humility, “like he did when he first hustled for the position, swallow his pride and embark on house to house reconciliation mission to those he has offended.”

He also reminded  Bayelsa state leaders that what is before them is not about Dickson who has erred but their integrity as a people.
