With the 2027 presidential election drawing closer, a frontline support group backing President Bola Tinubu’s second-term ambition, Obedient General Worldwide, has extended its mobilisation campaign to Europe, inaugurating coordinators across European countries to rally Nigerians in the diaspora behind the President.
The group has also declared with confidence that the January 16th Nigeria’s presidential election will be in favour of Tinubu, as it would be a good time for Nigerians for the good work he has done.
The inauguration, which took place on Friday in Brussels, Belgium, was part of a 10-day European tour by the group aimed at strengthening its international network and expanding support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Speaking at the event, the Founder of the group, Mr. Ikenna Azomchine (Obidient General), who led the inauguration, charged the newly appointed diaspora coordinators to intensify their mobilisation efforts and remain committed to the President’s re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general election.
He said the exercise was organised in collaboration with the All Progressives Congress (APC), City Boy Movement and other pro-Tinubu support groups, bringing together political allies united by their backing for the President’s second-term ambition.
According to him, the inauguration was intended to improve coordination among supporters abroad, strengthen their collective political activities and create a more organised platform for promoting Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda among Nigerians living in Europe.
He reiterated his confidence that the President would secure victory in the January 16, 2027 presidential election, attributing the group’s optimism to what it considers the administration’s efforts towards national development.
The Obedient General Worldwide founder maintained that the group would continue to work with other pro-government movements to consolidate support for Tinubu, stressing the importance of unity, sustained engagement and coordinated action in advancing the re-election project.
He added that the European coordinators would serve as important links between the group’s international network and its mobilisation activities in Nigeria, with the broader objective of strengthening the President’s political support base ahead of the election.
The European tour, according to the group, represents part of its wider strategy to take its campaign beyond Nigeria and bring more Nigerians in the diaspora into its political activities ahead of the 2027 electoral contest.
