The newly re-appointed Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Reformation, Dr. Nelson Omenugha, has expressed gratitude to the Governor for the confidence reposed in him, even as he called on relevant stakeholders to join hands in building a new generation of responsible and productive young people in Anambra State.

Omenugha made the call in a post he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Thursday, following his reappointment on Tuesday by Governor Soludo.

The appointment marked his return to the office after a successful and impactful service as Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment Programmes under Governor Soludo’s first tenure.

Expressing appreciation to Governor Soludo and the First Lady of Anambra State, Dr. Nonye Soludo, Omenugha described the appointment as both an honour and a call to greater service, pledging to justify the confidence reposed in him.

According to him, the assignment represents a renewed opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the Governor’s vision of building a prosperous and livable homeland through the Solution 2.0 agenda.

He further commended Governor Soludo’s commitment to youth development, social reorientation and value rebirth, noting that the administration’s approach goes beyond physical infrastructure and economic development to encompass character building, responsible citizenship and human capital development.

The former Special Adviser on Youth Empowerment Programmes maintained that the future of the state depends largely on the ability of society to nurture resilient, disciplined, innovative, productive and globally competitive young people.

While thanking friends, associates and well-wishers who have reached out to congratulate him, Omenugha stressed that youth reformation cannot be achieved by the government alone, but requires the active participation of every segment of society.

He specifically called on parents, traditional institutions, religious organisations, educational institutions, private sector players, civil society groups, the media, development agencies and youth organisations to support the government’s efforts towards reshaping the mindset and orientation of young people.

Addressing the youths directly, Omenugha assured them of his commitment to inclusive engagement, mentorship and purposeful leadership, while encouraging them to embrace integrity, discipline, innovation, enterprise and service as guiding principles.

He also assured that the administration remains committed to creating opportunities that would enable young people to realise their full potential and contribute positively to the development of the state.

The Governor’s aide further expressed optimism that, with collective support and the visionary leadership of Governor Soludo, the state would record remarkable progress in youth development and social transformation.

He reiterated his determination to deliver on the mandate entrusted to him and leave behind a lasting legacy of positive impact among young people across Anambra State.
