The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Senator Emma Anosike, has called on members of the party to put aside their differences and embrace reconciliation, unity and collective responsibility in the interest of the party and its future aspirations in the state.

Senator Anosike made the appeal on Thursday during an interaction with party faithful in Umueri, where he stressed the need for leaders, stakeholders and members of the party to work together to strengthen the APC and position it for greater success.

The party chairman noted that, like every political organisation, the APC had experienced internal disagreements arising from different interests and opinions, but maintained that such differences should not be allowed to undermine the larger goals and objectives of the party.

According to him, the time had come for members to look beyond their grievances and focus on the common vision of building a stronger and more formidable political structure in Anambra State.

He emphasised that peace and reconciliation should not be viewed as signs of weakness or defeat but rather as essential ingredients for progress, stability and electoral success.

Senator Anosike also acknowledged that some members of the party might have been dissatisfied with the outcomes of previous internal processes and assured them that his administration would be guided by fairness, consultation and inclusiveness.

He pledged to maintain open lines of communication with party leaders and members across the ward, local government, senatorial district and state levels to ensure that everyone has a sense of belonging.

The APC chairman further promised to pursue an all-inclusive leadership style that would foster mutual respect, strengthen internal democracy and encourage broader participation in the affairs of the party.

He stressed that the party’s immediate priority should be the restoration of harmony and unity among members, noting that internal cohesion would provide a stronger foundation for future victories.

According to him, the party’s first assignment should be the reconciliation of aggrieved members and the elimination of bitterness capable of hindering its growth and development.

Senator Anosike also urged party members to place the overall interests of the APC above personal considerations and remain committed to supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He expressed confidence that, with unity, discipline and sustained consultations among party leaders and members, the APC would continue to grow stronger and consolidate its position in Anambra State and beyond.
