The Mayor of Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Iyom Amaka Obi, has congratulated the wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, on the occasion of her 56th birthday, describing her as a woman of compassion, vision, humility and outstanding service to humanity.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, the mayor extolled the virtues of the First Lady, whom she described as an exceptional personality whose life and activities have continued to inspire hope and positively transform the lives of many people across the state.
Obi particularly commended Mrs. Soludo’s commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles among residents through her “Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo” initiative, which she noted has continued to record remarkable success in the areas of nutrition, environmental sanitation, family welfare and community development.
According to the mayor, the First Lady’s numerous interventions in support of women, children and vulnerable members of society have earned her widespread admiration and respect within and beyond Anambra State.
She further noted that Mrs. Soludo’s dedication, wisdom, kindness and commitment to the service of humanity have distinguished her as a shining example of purposeful leadership and selfless service.
The Mayor also expressed appreciation for the support the First Lady has continued to extend to families and communities through various empowerment and advocacy programmes aimed at improving the well-being of the people.
While praying for God’s continued guidance and protection upon the celebrant, Obi wished her many more years of good health, wisdom, strength, peace and fulfilment.
She also prayed that Mrs. Soludo would continue to enjoy divine grace and achieve greater milestones in her efforts to touch lives and contribute to the development of society.
The mayor extended the goodwill message on behalf of her family, members of the Idemili South Healthy Living family and the entire people of Idemili South Local Government Area.
She concluded by describing the First Lady, popularly known as “Mama Anambra” and “Mmiliguluegu”, as a great source of hope and inspiration to many people.
“Happy 56th birthday, Mama Anambra,” she added.
