ABUJA – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Major General Adeyinka Fadewa (Rtd) as Special Adviser on Homeland Security. The move is seen as a strategic step to bolster the nation’s internal security framework and improve intelligence sharing across agencies.
The appointment was confirmed in a statement from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, signed by the Permanent Secretary (General Services Office), Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana. According to the presidency, Fadewa was selected for his “exceptional record of service” and strategic expertise in national security.
