Covid-19; Hayyin Foundation donates 3050 bag of rice to orphans in Bauchi

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hayyin Foundation Hajiya Amina Jauro has donated 3050 bag of rice of 25KGs to orphans, vulnerable children and households in  Bauchi State.

Donating the food items today to the beneficiaries at Gumau in Toro Local Government Area, Hajiya Jauro said the palliative measures is aimed at reducing the suffering of the masses especially during this Covid-19 lockdown

She said, “I have also giving N10,000 naira each to 350 people across seven Local Government Areas that made up of Bauchi South Senatorial District to cushion their suffering at this time of partial lockdown and border closures. I have also given out 150 bag of sugar to women, elderly people and the downtrodden across Bauchi South”.

She said, helping less privilege is part of her passion growing up as a child in a remote village and the time has come for her to execute her childhood project which is her child dream by helping others.

Other items donated include, 50 gallons of turkey oil, 120 jericans of palm oil of 20 litres each and 250 shadda of 5 yards each to 250 people.

On Ramadan fasting, she said 200 bags of 50 kgs of rice was also giving to Muslims Communities including cash of N5000 naira each to 300 people.

One of the beneficiaries Hassan Usman said the food items and the shadda giving to her by Hayyin Foundation come at the right time she needed help the most.

Also speaking, a community leader in Full in Bogoro LGA Alhaji Habib Saleh said as community leaders they are much grateful to the foundation for remembering them at the time they all needed assistant from wealthy individuals.
