ASABA- As part of efforts to promote mutual understanding in Delta State amongst competiting political parties and the ruling Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Delta State towards sustainable peace and development, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Inter-Party Relations, Hon Chief Efe Tobor Josaiah has said that efficient and effective collaboration is inevitable so as to depeen Democratic processes.
The Governor’s aide disclosed this to our reporter yesterday while for me questions from some group of Journalists in the Asaba, Delta State capital during a one day Workshop held at the Conference Hall of Benizis Hotel, Kingley Emu Street, Off Summit Road, Asaba, Delta State Capital as organized for all political parties Chairmen in Delta State by the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor on Political matters, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon in Collaboration with the Leadership of the outgoing Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC), Delta State Chapter led by Hon Chief Fred Obi.
The event was targeted to sensitize the 91 Political Party Chairmen(Parties) in the State on the theme: ” Synergy between the ruling Party in the State and all Political Parties towards sustainable democratic processes, which was widely attended by the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Barr. Kingley Burutu Otuaro who represented the Governor of the State, National Leadership of Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC), led by Hon. Chief Peter Ameh and his team, the Guest Lecturer, Dr. Timi Tonye, the Leadership of Inter-party Relations in Delta State, and the Political Parties Chairmen in Delta State, Political aides to the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.
SSA Inter-Party Relations to the Governor, Hon Chief Efe Tobor Josaiah commended the entire political exercise, the Stakeholders for attending the Workshop, the State Government( Office of the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor) and the Leadership of the outgoing Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC), Delta State Chapter for such wonderful political initiative that is aimed towards sustainable Political peace and development by bringing both the ruling Peoples Democratic party (PDP) and other opposition Political parties together terming the gesture the first in the history of the state, then urged all political parties Chairmen to replicate same in their various domain for Socio-political development in the State.
His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Delta State, The Senior Political Adviser to Governor Okowa, IPAC National Chairman, the Guest Lecturer, outgoing IPAC Chairman, Delta State, Inter-party Relations Leadership in Delta State, some few Political parties Chairmen, the notable dignitaries in that Workshop that spoke and urged Political parties Chairmen in Delta State who urged the Participants to see themselves as partners in progress, development by uniting, providing constructive criticisms, ideas through viable Synergy for Socio-economic development, in fulfilment of the Governor’s stronger Delta Agenda and all- round Sectoral achievements.
