We, the leaders and members of the FORUM FOR APOSTLES OF TRUTH, Imo State, wish to call upon the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), the Inspector-General of Police, IGP and even the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in US, to, as a matter of urgency, Conduct thorough investigation into the business relationship of Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State with Chief Chika Odionyenma who is a prominent suspected fraudster on the FBI list.
Looking at the names of the 77 Suspected Fraudsters on the FBI list, Chief Chika Odionyenma is number eighteen (18) and there are evidences that he has been a close ally and business partner of Governor Ihedioha.
Apart from appointing him a member of his inauguration Committee, Governor Ihedioha in a letter he personally signed and addressed to Chief Odionyenma, pleaded with him to serve as a member of his Transition and Inauguration Committee and Odionyenma accepted and was at the inauguration live.
After the inauguration, he went into a private meeting with the governor and they were in a very relaxed mood as partners and the attached or the accompanying photograph would show that.
Governor Ihedioha also appointed the same Odionyenma a member of the Committee on Recovery of Moveable Assets or Properties of Imo State Government. He is number seven (7) in that Recovery Committee list with another character like Jasper Ndubuaku being the Chairman. The letter to that effect was dated June 17, 2019 and was signed by the Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Mr. Uche Onyeaguocha
And it could now be understood why the Committee went into looting and mind-blowing extortion. The dangers of making someone on the FBI list, a member of a Recovery Committee.
Odionyenma was also believed to be one of the people that bankrolled the election expenses of Ihedioha and that is the reason they have now gone for the Jugular of the people of the State. This is not the best of time for Imo people as far as this PDP Government in the State is concerned.
It can also be understood why Kidnapping, Raping, Ritual killings, Armed Robbery, Cultism and Occultism have all resurfaced in the State within the few months of the administration.
So, it is important that the agencies or persons we have mentioned Conduct thorough investigation into the issues we have raised and take the necessary actions since a stitch in time saves nine.
