Be fair and just in recruitment – Gov Bala Mohd to Police

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has tasked Police Service Commission to be fair and just to all Nigerians in the ongoing Police recruitment exercise.

Bala Mohammed made the statement yesterday at Ramat House Bauchi when he received a hight delegation from the Police Commission led by a National Commissioner, Justice Clara Baya who paid him a courtesty visit.

Governor Bala Mohammedd assured that  his administration’s woild continue support  and partners with organization that would bring development in the state.

He commended  President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the conduct of the recruitment exercise and observed that it will go along way towards enhancing the country’s security system.

The Governor expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the State Police Command towards tackling social vices and other criminal activities and assured of his support to security agencies working in the state.

On the request made by the National Commissioner on the need for the state government to encourage girl child education, Governor Bala Mohammed pledged to come up with Educational Initiative as part of efforts to improve education sector in the state and promote girl child enrollment in schools.

On her part, the leader of the delegation Justice Clara Baya said the visit to the state is to monitor the conduct of the Police recruitment in the state.

Justice Clara Baya who is overseeing the exercise in the North East, assured the governor that justice would be done in the process in line with Police Community Policing.

The National Commissioner acknowledged the efforts of Governor Bala Mohammed at given top priority to the security of the state for crime free society, and applauded him for his support to the committee.
