Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that deadly violence hit the South South oil state of Bayelsa today as the members of the All Progressive Congress [APC] gathered for a meeting at the State capital in Yenogua.
According available information, gunmen believed to be hoodlums from another faction of the APC crashed into the venue of the meeting and opened fire. The came into the meeting venue and began shooting. They killed one.
The APC had expelled the Chairman of the party in the State and was readying to appoint an acting chairman when the gunmen struck.
