Obosi Cults’ Clash: Death Tolls Increases to 16, Soldiers Place Curfew

The death toll following the war between two rival cult groups, Ayes and Baga in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State has persisted as the alleged killings of one Mrs. Odibe and two twins from the town but residing in the State capital, Awka at the weekend brings it to sixteen (16) already murdered in cold blood by the youths of the town who preferred living in the bondage of the Satan than living in the light of the truth.

 

Before today, so many youths have been barbarically murdered as if any of the murderers can create human being, the act traced to the indiscriminate sale of hard drugs in Obosi Kingdom by some selfish individuals who gain so much in scattering with rake what God toiled day and nights gathering with shovels and outcome of land speculation and immediate past Obosi crisis, which led to proscription of the then infamous Adike Peace Foundation, APF.

 

247ureports visit to the ancient kingdom of Obosi at the yester night reveals that virtually every youths crossing Mike Ajegbo Federal Bye-Pass were brutally tortured and undisclosed sums of money extorted from the victims by the military men deployed in the town on alleged request of the former Secretary of the Common Wealth of Nations, Chief Emeka Anyoku, Adazie Obosi.

 

Investigation further revealed that one Pope Okereke who was a mason from Delta state and was exonerated from the cult list, Mr. Nnoso Obi alleged to be a staunch member of one of the cult group and other youths were among the heads that rolled in the town that has produced most prominent men in Nigeria.

 

Nemesis was said to have caught up with late Nonso Obi at the gate of former Secretary of the Common Wealth of Nations, Chief Emeka Anyoku, and (Adazie Obosi) when the other cult group engaged its rival in a supremacy war aimed at telling Adazie Obosi that they have nothing to fear no matter his status in the society.

 

Information available to 247ureports confirm that Ayes and Baga saw the withdrawal of the military men posted to the town by the Army authorities in 82 Division, Enugu as well as the withdrawal of the local vigilant group as an undue advantage to commit crime.

 

Effort made to reach the Commander 302 Artillery Regiment, Onitsha, Col. Fagga as at the time of filling this report failed while the Obosi palace scribe, Nze Shedrick Okenwa who could not hid his ill feelings on the ugly development urged security apparatus in the state not to leave any stone unturned in fishing out those behind the mess.
