The Federal High court sitting in Lagos has nullified the elections of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) which brought the two factions of both Yakubu Shendam and Abdulmajid Abdulahi into being.
In a motion for interlocutory injunction, Barr. Nnamdi Nweke, Counsel to the Plaintiff, Mr. Anyebe Odeh, sought that the court should nullify the elections, having be conducted during the pendency of the instant suit.
The court, presided by Hon. Justice O.E Abang further ordered the Inspector General of police to remove forthwith, any body currently occupying any o the elective offices of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.
