The Government of Anambra State under the leadership of the first All Progressive Grand Alliance [APGA] elected governor in the nation and the first to serve an 8 – year term, Governor Peter Gregory Obi appeared to have conceived a beautiful theoretical concept of developing all sectors simultaneously – including education, healthcare and other sectors.
Among the policy concepts crafted by the Obi administration was the accelerated development of educational infrastructures through the placement of water bore holes, computer systems, library, laboratory, buses and etc. A healthy dosage of media barrage was included as part of the policy implementation program.
Below are photographs depicting the present state of infrastructure development in the educational sector in Anambra – after 8 years of Governor Peter Obi’s administration.
The photographs show the present condition at Uga Boys Secondary School, Uga, in Aguata Local Government Area under the south senatorial district.
Uga Boys Secondary school was once part of the glory of Anambra education system.
Enjoy.
