The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Elon Musk, has announced that the platform would be launching different colored badges to distinguish between accounts.
Musk shared a post on his Twitter account Friday that all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activated.
He said, “Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week.
“Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activates.
“Secondary tiny logo showing they belong to an organisation if verified as such by that organisation.”
