Bauchi State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed today presided over the inauguration of PDP Reconciliation Committee in an occasion held at Banquet Hall, Government House, with a call on members, aspirants, candidates and stakeholders to bury the hatchet and ensure unity for the success of the Party in the forthcoming election.
Mohammed while commending the leadership of the State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for their hard work and synergy, called on the committee to discharge their assigned responsibility diligently for the best interest of the Party.
He said the committee will reach out to all those who participated at the recently concluded PDP primary elections with a view to ensuring unity of the PDP is strengthened.
The Governor used the medium and once again congratulated Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for his victory in the PDP presidential primary election and reiterated his support for his and the Party’s victory in general elections.
Also speaking, State PDP Chairman, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam congratulated Governor Bala and assured him of their support for more success.
Also speaking, chairman of the committee, Senator Bala Adamu Kariya thanked Governor Bala for finding them worthy to be in the committee and pledged to work towards ensuring the success of the assignment.
The committee has four weeks to submit its report for further deliberation.
