NDE trains 30 youth on waste recycling in Bauchi

National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has today commenced training of 30 beneficiaries of batch two on watse recycling under Enviropreneurship Development Scheme (EDS) across 20 LGA of Bauchi State.

Declaring the training open, the Director General of the (NDE), Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fipko, who was represented by the State Coordinator, Lawal Ali Yaya said that the training is newly programme being introduced, aimed at uplifting and empowering the teaming youth to become self-reliant through entrepreneurship skills.

He further disclosed that the beneficiaries will under go three months intensive training and each will receive N5,000 as monthly transportation stipends.

In his speech, the Executive Director, Xpedien Global Vision,
Dr Sale Nuhu Barde, who also represented by Kolawole Sunday said the Company uses technology to combat watse materials to charcoal, fertilizer and toiletry preventions.

He explained that now a days people often refers them as “advanced Baban Bola” because they collect and turnaround refused, watse materials to wealth.

He enjoyed the youth to focus during the training in other to gain the knowledge and help themselves becomes self-reliant as well as to improve the social economic of the State.

Earlire in his welcome addressed, the Coordinating Officer of the Special Public Works (SPW), Abubakar Suleiman, said the newly Enviropreneurship was introduced to replaced an existing program of watse wealth in the Agency under the supervision of Enviropreneurship Development Scheme (EDS) department.

He further explained that the beneficiaries will be train on recycling of watse materials like polythenebags, sugar cane and combat them to fartilizers, charcoals.
