Bayoko Counsel Civil Servants to foster Relationships Beyond Workplace

• Condoles Ojeblenu on Father’s Demise

Civil servants in the state have been told to foster cordial relationships among themselves beyond the confines of the workplace in order to build stronger bonds and peaceful co-existence.

The Head of Service of Delta State, Mr. Reginald Bayoko gave the counsel when he paid a condolence visit to the Functioning Permanent Secretary, Office of the Head of Service, Mr. Patrick Ojeblenu over the demise of his father; Pa Joseph Ojeblenu on Wednesday in Asaba.

Mr. Bayoko, who led other Senior Civil Servants on the visit described the lifetime of late Pa Ojeblenu as a fulfilled experience.

He told the bereaved functioning PS to be consoled with the fact that his late father lived to a ripe old age, and had paid his dues.

The HOS who said it was a celebration of life, stated that the late Pa Ojeblenu may have had both sweet and sour memories while alive

“But since death is inevitable, we can only relish the beautiful moments that we shared together’’ Bayoko said.

While expressing his deep condolence to the family of the Ojeblenu on the death of their patriarch, who died at the age of 87, said that it was important that the living should foster cordial relationship

He noted that it was essential “that we know ourselves beyond the office space; know our houses, our siblings, for we are one family. It is necessary that we make conscious efforts to visit ourselves in our homes more often’’ the Head of Service said.

Speaking on behalf of the Ojeblenu’s, Engr. Onyia thanked the Head of Service for the visit, saying that the family was deeply comforted by the visit.

Present with the Head of Service at the condolence visit in Asaba was the functioning Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Establishment and Pensions, Mr. Kingsley Olomukoro; Mr. Steve Ekwurume, and a host of other Senior Civil Servants servants.
