The State Secretary Miyyati Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) Bauchi State Alhaji Sadiq Ibrahim Ahmed has disclosed that injustice by Nigerian leaders including traditional rulers have been the root cause of all crises and violence in Nigeria

Alhaji Sadiq Ahmed stated this in an interview with reporters in Bauchi Saturday in his office,

He said, “all the crises we are having in this country is because of injustice by our regular leaders in government to some ethnic groups, tribes and religion which have metathesized into violence everywhere”.

The elder statesman said, “To end insecurity in Nigeria there is a need for our leaders to do justices to their followers, tribes, religion and groups, because if one tribe or group in the society feel that they have being dominated and denied their right by the government and established institutions including traditional rulers they would be left with no option than to break the law because they feel cheated and not carry alone in scheme of things”.

He said, “if you look at various groups that are becoming problem to the society they are all crying for injustice, let me take an example of my people the Fulani nomad, the Fulani nomad have become wild in the society because the feel the government, the traditional rulers and the securities have failed them and denied them some privileges as citizens and  only way government can achieve lasting peace in Nigeria is by doing justice to all the tribes, religion and ethnic groups”.

Sadiq Ahmed suggested that government severe  punishment who ever that breaks the law of the land without looking at his religion, tribe, religion or his geographical location as a panacea for peace saying selected punishment or favoritism would only lead the country to bigger problems.

He explained that “at the initial stage, even Boko Haram cried for injustice “even though they started it in an illegal way but government should have bring them together for a dialogue, let them sit together proffer a solution before it gets out of hand. Look at Shiites group, even though they do not recognized government but government should have used the law to arrest everybody but when you allow the law until when things get out of hand then you started making arrest, detention is a wrong way of doing things and the crisis or violence would continue”.

Reacting to a recent comment made by Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom that Miyyati Allah leaders should be call to order by the Federal Government and also be prosecute for their misguided utterances, The Secretary said that he do not recognized the Governor as a leader but as someone who became a Governor by chance and have nobody at heart.

He said, “I look at Ortom as some one who is not a leader. I look at as someone who became a governor  by chance, if he had come to government as a leader he should have known that everybody in Benue is under his jurisdiction and must respect him and everybody under his jurisdiction have some privileges and right. You can enact a law without considering why you are enacting the law as Governor and a leader he knows that he is govern by the law of the land. He is not to make sentimental laws because of before he was born Fulani were there in Benue State and they have being living as friends”.

He said,  “Nigerian leaders and traditional rulers should stop thinking that they owns a land, you have your own tribe, you have your own people because form part of the injustice in the country and that would never leave society to sailor and once a governor or a leader would not do justice to everybody himself because all the problems he is instigating they would come behind him and that is what is happening in Benue and Taraba states”

“Look at the present Governor of Plateau state  he is a governor of peace he tried to bring everybody on board, you can yes that there is 100% peace in plateau but at least 75 to 76 percent have been achieved which is ok for a leader. We are living like a brothers and sisters  in same state with nomads but previous government who feels they can isolate somebody based on religion, tribalism they did not succeed and they would never succeed, our leaders must leave by good example by carrying everybody alone”.
