EFCC Gets Detention Order Against Fayose For 15days

Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the immediate past governor of Ekiti Governor, Ayo Peter Fayose who submitted himself to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] yesterday – and was detained by the EFCC – will be detained for a minimum of 15days.

According to the information, the detention order obtained by the EFCC is renewable at the end of the 15days. A source who spoke to our correspondent indicated that the Buhari administration intends to keep Fayose “out of circulation” for a while.

The EFCC interrogation team had offered Fayose an administrative bail – if Fayose would accept to having committed financial crimes. Fayose refused to accept to the terms.
