NOTICE OF THE UNITED PROGRESSIVE PARTY (UPP)
PRIMARY ELECTIONS
We wish to notify the Independent National Electoral Commission that
the United Progressive Party (UPP) will conduct Primary Elections
nationwide as follows:
1. House of Representatives/Senatorial Primaries shall hold on the
3rd of October, 2018.
Venue: United Progressive Party State Headquarters across the
country and FCT.
Time: 10:00a.m. prompt
2. Governorship/House of Assembly Primaries shall hold on the 4th
of October, 2018.
Venue: United Progressive Party State Headquarters across the
country and FCT.
Time: 10:00a.m. prompt
(i) All disputes arising from the conduct of Primaries shall be
disposed of on or before 5th October, 2018.
(ii) Ward delegates shall be composed of the following officers of
the Party: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Women Leader and Youth
Leader as contained in the Constitution of the Party as amended.
(iii) Local/State/National delegates shall be composed of
officers as contained in the Constitution of the Party as amended.
