The national coordinator of the operation for APGA [All Progressive Grand Alliance] to take over the South East, Chief Ben Obi aka Igwe APGA has called on all south east politicians and political observers to key into the new political movement in the south east.

Chief Obi who spoke to 247ureports.com recently expressed gratitude to the Governor of Anambra State for bestowing on him the honor of leading the charge to lead APGA to the next level to take over the south east region. He mentioned that the Governor’s vision was one that its time has come – and must be seen to fruition.

I am ready to turn the entire south east to APGA”.

According to Chief Obi, under the leadership of the state governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, the APGA is poised to envelope the entire south east region in the manner it swept the entire twenty one [21] local governments in Anambra State during the recent gubernatorial election.

APGA is the sure way for the south east to battle marginalization” explains Chief Obi as he elaborated that APGA remains the only vehicle to liberate the south east from the claws of marginalization and undue neglect in the federal scheme. “If the south east in unison is draped in APGA, the center can never ignore us”. He continued that “nobody can contest to be president of this federation without negotiating with the APGA in South East”.

Operation APGA Take Over The South East comes timely following the anti-climax of Peter Obi’s exit from the APGA – after having served eight [8] years as the governor of Anambra under the political umbrella of APGA. The then Governor Peter Obi had received what was believed to be a covenant blessing from the then APGA leader and father, Chief Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu – to anchor the APGA and the south east region affairs.

But according to Chief Obi [Igwe APGA], Peter Obi threw the covenant blessing away because of personal greed and selfishness. “He threw away the Ofor given to him by the late Ikemba and abandoned APGA for PDP”. Igwe APGA lamented bitterly about Peter Obi’s actions of tossing away the ‘Ofor’ immediately Ojukwu died. “He had promised Ikemba he will never abandon APGA but immediately Ojukwu died, he abandoned his promise and joined the PDP.”

Igwe Obi points to Peter Obi current pitiful situation as the result of his actions against the Ikemba and APGA. “Mark my words, anybody that tries what Peter Obi did to APGA will be faced with the same ‘thing’ that happened to Peter Obi. It doesn’t matter who you are”.

Igwe APGA reiterated Governor Obiano’s call to all likely participants in the upcoming APGA primary – that no automatic tickets will be given. All grounds would be level for every participant. Even new members with be given the same treatment as old members. There will be no special treatment for anyone. “We are accepting new members who may participate in the process. My contact number is 0803 360 0983, I encourage any willing person who wants to join the process to call me. APGA is open for business”.

The developmental strides and near renaissance ongoing in Anambra State presently under the administration of Willie Obiano could be replicated across the south east, claims Igwe APGA. Governor Obiano according to Igwe APGA has displayed what can result from an APGA oriented leadership. “We will replicate what is happening in Anambra State across the south east”.   Nkea bu kanyi
