Resign, Go And Work For Miyeti Allah , Ortom Tell IGP Idris

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has said the Inspector General of Police, IGP Idris Ibrahim has become the mouthpiece of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore. He has therefore asked him to resign his current position and go serve full time in his new job.
Ortom who stated this in an interview with newsmen in makurdi was responding to the comments by the IGP through the command PRO, Jimoh Moshood who called him (Ortom) a drowning man saying he should resign for failing to protect lives and property in his state.
Ortom said that it is rather the IG who has completely neglected his duty of enforcing the law of the land and has become the mouthpiece of the Miyeti Allah Kauta Hore that ought to respect himself by resigning for a more competent officer to take his place.
The Governor said it was rather sad and unfortunate that the police boss saddled with the responsibility of protecting lives and property can not contend with crises in the state and country rather, he is making mockery and dancing on the graves of those who have been killed.
“If the IGP will call me a drowning man and ask me to resign, I want to ask between me and the IGP who is to resign? Is it me who is doing the right thing by obeying the laws of the land or him who is doing the wrong thing by being unable to protect lives and properties of citizens.
“I think it is amazing that the police is exhibiting that level of ignorance and are insulting me and other Nigerians at the same time. And if the president will keep quiet for an IG of police who have no capacity to contend with the herdsmen crises in my state and country to continue in office, it is a shame”.
The governor called on the IG to stop playing tricks with human luves but to go after the killers eapecially that he knows who they are.
He said it was painful that even the security personnel sent to protect lives and properties in the state are also being killed by the armed herdsmen.
“I commiserate with the families of the police personnel who came here to protect us and have been killed. It is unfortunate, the Police are dying and the Inspector General of Police is still playing politics with the issue.
“The IG should resign because he has failed woefully. He has the capacity. No one should try to intimidate me. You saw in a YouTube Fulani militia in a canoe to Benue saying they are coming to do the job that they have been paid for. You did not arrest them and you are calling me names.
“Iam not a drowning man. I’m a man of my people and I am working with them. I am acting their script. I refuse to be intimidated. The IG should stop playing pranks with peoples lives. He has to resign . That man has no business being the IG”, he added.
